Well, well, well… it seems even CNN can’t ignore the truth anymore. CNN host John King made a surprising admission following Joe Biden’s State of the Union address. King, who’s been covering these annual speeches for 36 years, declared that Biden’s was the most politicized he’s ever heard. “Never heard one so political,” King said during a network recap. “Never heard one that was such a campaign speech.” That’s right, folks! Even CNN, known for its extreme liberal bias, couldn’t overlook the glaringly divisive nature of Biden’s speech.

During his 90-minute monologue, Biden took every opportunity to lambast Republicans, while boasting about his administration’s efforts to stem the opioid crisis and preserve manufacturing jobs. All the while, he painted a rosy picture of progress towards a greener economy. Meanwhile, Republicans mostly sat with their hands clasped, except when Biden threw in a few platitudes about increasing border security.
But here’s the kicker: Biden’s tough stance on illegal immigration isn’t going down well with his own party. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wished Biden had referred to the killer of 22-year-old Laken Riley as “undocumented” rather than illegal. Talk about walking a fine line!
The decorum of the event was also shattered by outbursts from the crowd. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene yelled at Biden to say the name “Laken Riley,” and a visibly upset Gold Star father was removed by Capitol police for yelling at Biden over his border failures.
Meanwhile, the White House is banking on a strategy that contrasts their supposed progress with the “chaos and unpredictability” of another four years of Trump. But according to recent polls, most Americans are leaning towards Trump, especially in critical swing states, while expressing concern over Biden’s handling of illegal immigration.
And while Biden was delivering his divisive address, Trump was lighting up the new social media network Truth Social with his rapid responses to the speech. His posts drew so much traffic that they became temporarily unavailable throughout the night!
So, here’s the takeaway: even CNN can’t deny the divisiveness of Biden’s State of the Union address. It seems that the more Biden tries to paint a picture of progress, the more Americans see through his political rhetoric.
