This fiasco shows how ill-prepared Harris and her team were. If you can’t even handle a scheduled interview, how on earth do you plan to run a country? Baier even mentioned that this wasn’t the first time he had to handle a political heavyweight dodging questions—he’s had to cut off long-winded answers before. But with Harris, it was a whole new level of evasion.
It’s obvious the campaign didn’t want Kamala going off-script, but hey, that’s what happens when you’re dealing with someone who’s more focused on damage control than on actually answering questions. So, instead of letting the interview run its course, Harris’s team yanked the plug when the going got tough.
If this interview is any indicator, the Harris campaign is in serious trouble. She can dodge Fox News, but she can’t dodge the American people forever. This was supposed to be a big moment for Harris, a chance to finally address some hard questions on a major network. Instead, it turned into a spectacle of unpreparedness and evasion.
