Trump Reacts to AG Garland’s Restoring of Andrew McCabe’s Benefits

President Trump recently slammed the Department of Justice under Merrick Garland for giving back the pension and benefits of ex-FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, who was terminated by former Attorney General Jeff Sessions right before his planned 2018 retirement. Trump called the move to restore McCabe’s benefits ‘disgraceful.’

“Isn’t it terrible that all of Andrew McCabe’s benefits, pensions, salary, etc., were just fully reinstated by the Justice Department? This is yet another mockery to our country,” President Trump said. “Among other things, McCabe’s wife received hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from Hillary Clinton and the Democrats while Crooked Hillary was under investigation, which was quickly dropped, of course.”

Former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe faced a serious disciplinary offense when it was discovered that he had lied to the FBI about leaking information to a news outlet. This violation of professional conduct resulted in his termination in March 2018, leading him to accuse President Trump of political retribution due to his involvement in the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server and the Russian collusion.

While the Department of Justice settled his lawsuit with McCabe, his reputation and professional life have been forever tarnished due to his lapse in judgment. It is clear from this case that lying is a high price to pay for anyone who works in the law enforcement field.

“Politics should never play a role in the fair administration of justice and civil service personnel decisions,” McCabe said in a statement through the Arnold & Porter law firm, which posted the settlement. I hope that this result encourages the men and women of the FBI to continue to protect the American people by standing up for the truth and doing their jobs without fear of political retaliation.”

In my opinion, Andrew McCabe should be charged and tried for the crime of lying to FBI investigators. His claim of being a victim of wrongdoing is hypocritical, given his participation in an attempted government coup against a duly elected president. There certainly seems to be a discrepancy in the justice system, where McCabe was not charged for a felony, but other citizens investigated by McCabe have been jailed for similar offenses.

“What a bad chapter this has been for the once storied FBI — I hate to see it happening, so many great people work there,” Trump’s said in his statement. “Next thing you know the two lovers, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, will be getting awards for what they did, and Hunter Biden will be given a clean bill of health on everything done by him, with everyone to receive as payment a beautiful Hunter Biden inspired painting selling at your local art gallery for $500,000.”

“While I have never painted before, Hunter has inspired me to immediately begin painting because I’ve always felt I have a talent at that and could surely get at least $2 million dollars per canvas — and probably a lot more. I will begin immediately. Our country is crooked as hell!”

The Biden regime’s decision to restore Andrew McCabe’s pension was an act of defiance against the Trump administration. This is due to the allegations that the Obama administration, particularly the Department of Justice and its intelligence community, had carried out a coup attempt against Donald Trump even before he had been inaugurated as President of the United States. It is a disgrace that McCabe, as one of the key figures in this alleged conspiracy, should have his pension restored. It sends a message that the Biden administration is willing to look past criminal behavior and reward those who colluded against Trump rather than punish them.

It’s all about lessons to support/promote specific behavior. The liberal Democraps are sending to clear messages: If you conspire to remove a duly elected Conservative president, even by illegal means and/or perjury, you get rewarded. If, on the other hand, you participate in a peaceful demonstration at the Capital to express your concerns about a fraudulent election you go to jail for several years, without trial, or bail, to teach you that objecting to liberal rule will not be tolerated. We have become a “banana republic”!

January 6th was peaceful????? I guess the bombing of Pearl Harbor was just a fireworks display.
