A recent report from the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project has highlighted how non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have facilitated illegal immigrants to travel to their destination of choice once they have arrived in the United States. Since Joe Biden took office, these organizations have seen a sharp increase in activity.
The investigation involved randomly selecting 30,000 mobile devices that had been geofenced to various NGO locations along the U.S.-Mexico border. This allows for tracking of pings, which were recorded over January 2022 in four distinct phases.
The first phase saw 400 devices pinged at two sites – Val Verde Border Humanitarian Center and Del Rio Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Station, while Phase Two saw 22,000 devices across 20 NGO sites monitored in border states.
Phase Three moved further inland with 13 NGO facilities close to the border having 5,000 devices pinged on their premises while Phase Four focused on Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley located in San Juan Texas with 3,400 devices recording data.
According to the results of this project, which is said to be the first ever recorded attempt at tracking migration of illegal immigrants into interior parts of the country, Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, Los Angeles, Chicago and Orlando are some of the most favored destinations for these people trying to settle in America.
Moreover, it has also come to light that certain NGOs are actively helping facilitate this influx as part of what appears to be a collaborative effort with the Biden regime by obtaining taxpayer money for processing and transportation services and infrastructure required for successful migration into America’s interior regions.
Mike Howell, director of The Oversight Project believes that this overflow from CBP is being transferred directly to these organizations so as to avoid overcrowding in government facilities due largely because of Biden’s immigration policies.
So, Los Angeles, Chicago, Orlando, and Dallas-Fort Worth…you may want to be mindful before traveling there.
