Well, isn’t this just a merry Christmas? Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) found herself on the receiving end of a rather nasty holiday “gift” – another swatting incident. Swatting for those who don’t know is that just charming prank where someone falsely alerts emergency services to a non-existent disaster at your home. Sounds like a good time, right? Especially on Christmas.
But hold onto your Santa hats, folks. Greene, never one to back down from a fight, isn’t just shaking off the incident. No, sir. She’s declaring war.
Now, for those of you who’ve been too busy stuffing your faces with Christmas cookies to keep up with the news, let me fill you in. This wasn’t the first time Greene has been targeted. She’s reported multiple incidents in recent days. Talk about being on someone’s naughty list!
Of course, Greene did what any sensible person would do – she called out the FBI. After all, if they can’t track down the jokers responsible for these calls, what are we paying them for? But despite their extensive resources and capabilities, they’ve yet to nab the culprits. I mean, come on guys, get it together!
I was just swatted.
This is like the 8th time.
On Christmas with my family here.
My local police are the GREATEST and shouldn’t have to deal with this.
I appreciate them so much and my family and I are in joyous spirits celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ!

I was swatted this morning on Christmas Day and a few days ago – Thursday Dec 21st. we received this death threat where this man is saying I will be shot in the head and skinned to make a “parasol” making a reference to Gein, who was a psychopath killer who would make things out… pic.twitter.com/iW8JvOSJLa

Greene isn’t just pointing fingers. She’s taking action. She’s planning to introduce legislation aimed at curbing swatting. “I will be introducing legislation to track down swatters,” she wrote. “Thank you to everyone who has sent well wishes for me and my family. I will never stop fighting for what is right and I will always put America first! No matter what or who attacks me.”
Swatting isn’t just a harmless prank, folks. It wastes vital law enforcement resources and can lead to serious criminal charges. In 2017, a man named Thomas Finch was fatally shot in a swatting incident. The perpetrator? He got hit with a 20-year prison sentence. Talk about a wake-up call! We need to take swatting seriously. It’s not a joke, it’s a crime. And if the FBI can’t step up, then it’s time for our elected officials to take action.
Kudos to Marjorie Taylor Greene for standing tall and fighting back. It’s a stark reminder that we need leaders who aren’t afraid to stand up to bullies and fight for what’s right. And let’s be honest, folks – isn’t that just the kind of Christmas spirit we need more of?
