Just when you thought Ilhan Omar (Socialist-MN) couldn’t get any worse, she gets caught on video teaching illegal aliens how to dodge deportation under President Trump’s administration. That’s right—an elected member of Congress is actively aiding and abetting people who have no legal right to be in this country, and she’s doing it with a smug sense of entitlement.
Newly surfaced video footage shows Omar hosting workshops in Minneapolis, coaching Somali migrants on how to evade Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers. Speaking to the crowd in her native Somali language, Omar reportedly told illegal aliens not to cooperate with federal authorities and advised them on how to refuse questioning by ICE agents.
“I advise the Somalian people that if ICE attempts to question you, you are not obligated to answer their questions,” Omar said, according to translations. “Just state that you were advised by a lawyer not to answer questions.”

So, let’s get this straight: A sitting U.S. congresswoman is actively instructing illegal migrants to obstruct law enforcement, all while collecting a paycheck funded by American taxpayers. Imagine if a Republican did anything even remotely similar—Democrats would be screaming about “obstruction of justice” and demanding resignations.
Omar’s disturbing behavior doesn’t stop with coaching illegals on how to break U.S. law. She also has direct ties to known Somali war criminals who have illegally made their way into the United States.
According to investigative reports, Omar’s own father, Mohamed Omar, was a high-ranking official in the brutal Somali regime of dictator Siad Barre, a despot connected to Fidel Castro and other tyrants around the world. Barre’s forces were responsible for countless war crimes, including mass killings and torture, and some of those very same people escaped to the U.S. without proper vetting.
And let’s not forget Omar’s long history of anti-American and r*cist remarks. Back in 2018, she infamously said:
“I would say our country should be more fearful of white men across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country.”
Can you even imagine the media firestorm if a Republican said something even close to this? They’d be tarred and feathered, but because Omar is a Democrat, she gets a free pass.
This is beyond disgraceful. Omar should be investigated, expelled from Congress, and, if applicable, deported herself. If she’s going to act like an anti-American radical, maybe she should go back to Somalia and see how her socialist nonsense works over there.
