Twice-failed presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has once again let the mask slip, folks. In a recent CNN interview, she came right out and admitted that the powers-that-be want control—and that social media is one of their biggest hurdles. Clinton argued that platforms like Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), and TikTok need to step up their censorship game, or, as she put it, “we lose total control.” That’s right—if the social media giants don’t start “moderating” content, then apparently, the entire house of cards comes tumbling down. Total control? Now, if that doesn’t give you chills, what will?

Clinton didn’t stop there. She took a swing at Section 230, the law that shields tech companies from liability for user-generated content. According to her, this protection has created an environment where misinformation can run rampant. But let’s be real here: does anyone honestly believe Hillary’s concerned about misinformation? Sounds more like she’s concerned that platforms aren’t censoring enough content that goes against the narrative. After all, Clinton has long been one of the biggest champions of squashing voices that don’t toe the establishment line. If she had her way, social media would look like one giant echo chamber, where dissent is silenced and “misinformation” is whatever the ruling class deems inconvenient.
Speaking of control, Hillary also took the opportunity to talk about—wait for it—taking phones away from kids in schools. Apparently, Clinton thinks America’s youth need less access to the outside world. “We’ve conducted a big experiment on ourselves and particularly our kids,” she said, lauding schools that are banning phones. Now, I’m all for classroom discipline, but let’s not pretend that confiscating phones is going to solve the underlying issues facing today’s kids. It sounds a lot more like she’s worried about younger generations having too much freedom to think for themselves.
And let’s not forget, just last month, Clinton suggested jailing Americans for so-called “misinformation.” She whined about supposed Russian interference back in 2016, then took it a step further, floating the idea of criminal charges for Americans spreading “propaganda.” Think about that for a second. Hillary Clinton—who’s no stranger to bending the rules herself—is out here calling for citizens to be locked up for saying the wrong things online.

So there you have it. The woman who’s lost two presidential elections is still trying to meddle in our lives, pushing for more censorship and less freedom. If there’s one takeaway from her CNN appearance, it’s that Hillary Clinton’s vision for America is as restrictive as it gets. Total control, indeed.
