Another major win for President Trump just rolled in, and this one comes from a place you might not have expected. Senator Rand Paul has finally come around and endorsed President Trump. Sure, it’s three months after Election Day, but hey, better late than never, right?
Paul took to X on Wednesday to make his not-so-typical endorsement, and in classic Rand Paul fashion, he didn’t hold back on honesty.
“A few people may have noticed that I resisted an enthusiastic endorsement of Donald Trump during the election. But now, I’m amazed by the Trump cabinet (many of whom I would have picked). I love his message to the Ukrainian warmongers, and along with his DOGE initiative shows I was wrong to withhold my endorsement.”
Translation: Trump’s America First agenda is delivering in ways that even a libertarian like Paul can’t ignore.
For months, Paul kept his distance, not quite jumping on the Trump train, but not exactly opposing him either. But now, he’s openly praising:
- Trump’s cabinet picks, including Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as HHS Secretary—two picks that make the establishment shudder.
- Trump’s approach to Ukraine, calling out Zelenskyy and the endless war machine draining American tax dollars.
- The DOGE initiative, which is actually slashing government waste and getting the debt under control.
Paul even admitted:
“So today, admittedly a little tardy, I give Donald Trump my enthusiastic endorsement! (Too little too late some will say, but, you know, it is sincere, there is that.)”
This is Rand Paul’s way of saying he miscalculated, and Trump is actually getting things done that even he can respect. And let’s be real—Paul doesn’t do fake enthusiasm. If he’s saying this, it’s because he means it.
Of course, this isn’t some blind, fanboy endorsement. Paul still made it clear he doesn’t love tariffs—but that’s Rand Paul for you. He’s a free-market libertarian, so tariffs make him break out in hives. But even he admits:
“Dios Mio, what courage, what tenacity. Go @realDonaldTrump Go!”
That’s Paul acknowledging that Trump’s relentlessness is exactly what’s needed to take on the D.C. swamp.
While Paul is cheering on RFK Jr. and Gabbard, he’s not on board with Trump’s Labor Secretary pick, former Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer. And knowing Paul, he’ll make sure his opposition is loud and clear.
Rand Paul is finally all in for Trump—and not because he has to be, but because Trump is proving that his policies actually work. This endorsement is real, it’s reluctant, and it’s exactly the kind of validation that shows Trump is getting things done.
