Well, well, well, folks, it seems like the plot has thickened again in the ongoing saga of Biden family drama. This time, we’re not talking about Hunter’s art sales or his infamous laptop, but a supposed bribery scheme involving none other than Papa Joe himself.
Now, before you choke on your coffee, let’s dive into the details. A former FBI agent, Stuart Kaplan, recently came forward with some intriguing information. Speaking to Fox News host Jesse Watters, Kaplan said that an FBI informant who was charged with lying about a bribery scheme involving Joe Biden was actually “highly credible.”
The informant, Alexander Smirnov, is accused of lying when he said that Burisma executives paid $5 million each between 2015 and 2016. For those of you living under a rock, Burisma is the Ukrainian energy company that had Hunter Biden on its board of directors. The plot thickens, doesn’t it?
It gets even better. Smirnov was charged with making a false statement and creating a false record. He was arrested shortly after arriving back in the U.S. from an overseas trip. Kaplan called the arrest “shameful” and rejected the idea that it exonerates the Bidens.
“It’s shameful, it’s embarrassing, and it’s not a time at all for the Bidens to take a victory lap,” Kaplan said. He added that he and his colleagues suspected the charges would eventually come. “Jesse, when that 1023 form was released last year, my colleagues and I knew at that point that informant was going to be sacrificed. It was just a matter of time,” he said.
Kaplan rejected the notion that discrediting Smirnov means we should discard all the evidence against the Bidens. “We still have a treasure trove of evidence that leads directly from Hunter Biden to his father,” Kaplan said. “It’s just insane. It’s illogical. It really is embarrassing. I can’t believe that the FBI has gone down this road again to unleash on this informant.”

Now, the million-dollar question is, why would the FBI charge a “credible” informant? Kaplan explained that Smirnov had been on the FBI’s payroll since 2010 and received substantial payments from them, which required many signatures and vetting.
So, folks, we’re left with more questions than answers. With all the drama surrounding the Bidens, it’s hard not to wonder what else we’ll uncover next.
