In yet another blatantly partisan ruling, U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell, an Obama-appointed activist in a robe, has temporarily blocked part of President Trump’s executive order barring employees from DNC law firm Perkins Coie from entering federal buildings.
This move comes just days after Trump stripped security clearances from Perkins Coie employees, a well-deserved punishment for their involvement in the Russian collusion hoax that wasted years of America’s time and undermined democracy in an attempt to keep Trump out of office.
Howell granted the law firm’s request for a temporary restraining order (TRO), arguing that Trump’s order violated their “due process”—because, apparently, if you’re a Democrat operative, you have more rights than the average American.
Howell Sides With the DNC’s Favorite Law Firm
CNN, the official public relations team for the Democratic Party, gleefully reported that Howell took issue with Trump’s authority to cut off federal business with firms like Perkins Coie, even telling DOJ lawyer Chad Mizelle that it “sent chills down my spine” to hear that Trump had that kind of power.
Mizelle’s response? “100 percent.”
That’s right—Trump absolutely has the power to prevent a law firm that literally helped manufacture a fake scandal against him from having access to federal resources. And let’s be clear: Perkins Coie isn’t just any law firm.
Perkins Coie’s Dirty Laundry
This is the same firm that:
🔹 Was paid over $1 million by Hillary Clinton and the DNC to hire Fusion GPS, which created the now-debunked Steele dossier—a pile of fiction meant to smear Trump during the 2016 election.
🔹 Funneled money through backchannels to keep their dirty tricks hidden from campaign finance disclosure laws.
🔹 Got Hillary Clinton fined by the FEC in 2022 for violating campaign finance laws.
Yet somehow, these DNC operatives in suits are now claiming to be victims of government overreach because they’re finally facing some consequences.
Who Is Beryl Howell?
Let’s not pretend this ruling is a neutral legal decision. Howell has spent years using her courtroom as a weapon against Trump.
She supervised the Mueller witch hunt
She obliterated Trump’s attorney-client privilege to turn his own lawyer into a witness for Jack Smith
She pressured the DOJ to give January 6 defendants even harsher sentences
Howell’s left-wing activism on the bench is nothing new, and her latest ruling is just more of the same.
Trump Fights Back
Despite the predictable lawfare tactics from activist judges, Trump isn’t backing down. His executive order stripping security clearances from Perkins Coie employees remains in effect, and his administration is ready to fight this battle all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary.
Howell and the D.C. swamp can throw as many roadblocks as they want, but Trump is cleaning house—and there’s nothing they fear more.
