Well, that didn’t take long. Just weeks after gun control activist David Hogg was handed the position of Vice Chair of the DNC, the Democratic Party is already regretting it. Who could have guessed that putting a radical 23-year-old activist with zero political experience in charge of party strategy would go horribly wrong? Oh right—everyone with common sense.
The controversy surrounding Hogg started almost immediately. First, he was caught using DNC resources to promote his own political action committee, which—conveniently—pays him a six-figure salary. Now, reports are surfacing that he’s pushing extreme ideas that are rubbing even Democrats the wrong way.
According to a source known as “Bad Hombre” on Twitter/X—who has a track record of getting things right—Hogg’s ego and reckless decision-making are causing major rifts inside the DNC. And frankly, the details are almost too ridiculous to believe.
Frustration and buyer’s remorse are reportedly increasing within the DNC regarding Vice Chair David Hogg.
The dissatisfaction stems from concerns that Hogg is prioritizing the use of party resources to promote his personal image and his organization, “Leaders We Deserve,” rather… pic.twitter.com/BTolDBVhXw

A $600 Million Vanity Project?
One of Hogg’s most outlandish proposals was for the DNC to spend $600 million creating its own social media platform—but here’s the kicker: it would only be for registered Democrats. He even volunteered himself as CEO of this massive project. Because, apparently, what the Democratic Party really needs isn’t better policies or a winning strategy, but their own exclusive online echo chamber run by David Hogg.
Needless to say, this didn’t go over well with other DNC officials, who reportedly saw it as yet another “Hogg money grab.”
Radicalizing the Party?
Hogg’s antics don’t stop at wasting millions on pointless projects. He has also clashed with moderate Democrats, pushing for more aggressive and militant tactics—the same kind of disruptive behavior that embarrassed the party during President Trump’s joint address to Congress.
To make things worse, Hogg even suggested setting up a bail fund to protect Democratic lawmakers who get arrested for engaging in radical activism. That’s right—while everyday Americans deal with rising crime, inflation, and an open border, Hogg’s priority is making sure Democrat politicians don’t face consequences for their behavior.
The Inevitable Meltdown
Hogg is also pushing Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as the Democratic nominee for 2028—which, let’s be honest, only proves how out of touch he is. If Democrats thought Kamala Harris was an unlikable candidate, just wait until they try running a guy best known for overseeing Minneapolis’ total collapse in 2020.
At this point, the real question isn’t whether Hogg will crash and burn—it’s how long the DNC will tolerate him before they cut him loose. My guess? Not much longer.
