Chuck Todd finally said the quiet part out loud — and it only took him leaving NBC to find the guts to do it.
In a recent appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, the former Meet the Press host confirmed what conservatives have been shouting from the rooftops for years: the mainstream media intentionally downplayed, sugarcoated, and flat-out ignored Joe Biden’s cognitive decline out of fear it would help President Trump. Todd practically admitted the entire Fourth Estate became Biden’s personal PR team — not because it was the right thing to do, but because they were terrified of another four years of Trump.
Bravo, Chuck. Real journalistic integrity there.
Todd defended the media’s refusal to cover Biden’s visible mental deterioration by claiming they did report it — just “subtly.” You know, like pointing out he was using the kiddie stairs on Air Force One or ghosting sit-down interviews. Oh, thanks for the breadcrumbs, guys. Meanwhile, anyone who dared to post actual video clips of Biden mumbling into the abyss or wandering off-stage during G7 meetings got slapped with “misinformation” labels and algorithm death on social media.
Let’s be real. The corporate press wasn’t being “subtle.” They were actively running cover. NBC, CBS, CNN — the whole alphabet soup of media outlets dismissed video evidence as “cheap fakes” and “Russian disinformation,” while dragging Trump through the mud over every offhand remark or typo. Remember when Biden needed Obama to guide him off a stage like a confused nursing home resident? CBS News said it was a “doctored video.” Now their own legal correspondent Jan Crawford is admitting Biden’s decline was “underreported.” Gee, you think?
Todd tried to spin it by saying the media didn’t want to “diminish” Biden because they feared helping Trump. That’s not journalism. That’s activism. That’s manipulation. That’s treating the American people like idiots who can’t be trusted with the truth. And it’s why trust in the media is lower than ever.

Worse, this willful blindness had real consequences. As Crawford pointed out, if the media had done their job and reported honestly, maybe there would have been a Democrat primary challenge. Maybe voters would’ve had a real choice. Instead, they propped up a man clearly unfit for office — all to stop Trump.
Now Biden’s out, the party’s in chaos, and the media is trying to rewrite history.
