It’s all starting to come into focus — and Susan Rice’s infamous email to herself on Inauguration Day 2017 just became the smoking gun nobody in the Obama camp wanted to revisit.
Thanks to newly declassified documents released Friday by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, we now have even more confirmation that the Trump-Russia collusion hoax wasn’t just a wild goose chase — it was a coordinated political hit job cooked up at the highest levels of the Obama administration. And right in the middle of it all? Susan Rice, Barack Obama’s National Security Advisor.
Gabbard’s declassification of a December 9, 2016 National Security Council meeting reveals that the top brass — Clapper, Brennan, Rice, Kerry, Lynch, McCabe, Haines — all gathered in the Obama White House, knowing full well that there was no Russian cyber interference that altered the 2016 election outcome. Yet they moved forward anyway, laying the groundwork for Crossfire Hurricane and the endless media leaks that followed.
But the piece everyone’s now zeroing in on is Rice’s bizarre “Note to Self” email sent to herself on January 20, 2017, the very day Donald Trump was sworn in. She claimed she was memorializing a meeting held on January 5, 2017, in the Oval Office with President Obama, FBI Director James Comey, and Deputy AG Sally Yates.
BREAKING: In a Jan 5, 2017 Oval Office meeting, Obama discussed Hillary's dossier "material"–inclg the false claim Trump was filmed by Russian intel w/ prostitutes urinating on Moscow Ritz bed–w/ James Comey, Susan Rice + Biden along with something Obama described as "the plan"

Now we know why Susan Rice sent this CYA "Note to File" email to herself 15 days after Obama hatched the dossier "plan" with her, Comey and Biden in the Oval Office. After the fact, she claimed Obama stressed the FBI and CIA handle the issue "by the book:"https://t.co/MMykwwehf8

According to Rice, Obama told Comey to make sure everything was handled “by the book.” Sounds innocent, right? Until you realize the FBI was actively using the Clinton-funded Steele Dossier — packed with lies about Russian hookers and “golden showers” — to justify surveillance on the Trump campaign.
Senator Chuck Grassley saw through it back in 2018, calling Rice’s email “odd” and “unusual.” He asked why she’d wait two weeks, until the final hours of the Obama administration, to type up a CYA email claiming that Obama emphasized everything be done properly. Sounds less like documentation and more like a legal parachute.
According to investigative journalist Paul Sperry, this same January 5th meeting included discussions of Hillary’s dirty dossier and what Obama called “the plan.” That plan, as it turns out, was to weaponize phony intel to kneecap the incoming president before he even got started.
Now that the truth is pouring out — and the DOJ is weighing prosecutions — Rice’s email reads less like a harmless memo and more like a cover-up in plain sight. They knew it was a hoax. They pushed it anyway. Now it’s time for accountability.
