Well, well, well. Looks like the Biden family’s chickens might be coming home to roost, folks. According to a recent report from the fine folks at Trending Politics News, the House Republicans are gearing up for some good ol’ impeachment proceedings against Joe Biden. And boy, does it look like it’s going to be a doozy.
According to the report, Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN) spilled the beans in a closed-door session of the GOP caucus, stating that a vote to officially kick off impeachment hearings could be just around the corner. Apparently, the Biden administration has been doing a little dance that looks suspiciously like “stonewalling.”
Now, I’m no expert, but when you’re not turning over documents or sitting for interviews as part of an impeachment inquiry, it tends to raise a few eyebrows. Especially when you’re the President of the United States. But hey, what do I know?
And it seems like House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is on the same page. In an interview with Sean Hannity, he claimed that Biden’s “days without impeachment are numbered.” Now, that’s what I call throwing down the gauntlet!
Johnson went on to accuse Biden of flouting legal and ethical boundaries to help his son Hunter and various business associates earn millions of dollars from foreign companies. According to Johnson, the bank records don’t lie, and they’ve got the receipts to prove it.
In response to these allegations, the White House has been playing the blame game, criticizing reporters for asking about Biden’s shifting answers related to his family business dealings. They’ve even pressured mainstream media outlets to report on Republicans’ “lies” about the president.
But here’s the kicker: House Republicans have already shown that Biden personally received at least $40,000 from family members that came as a result of overseas business activities by Hunter and associates. And let’s not forget that Hunter Biden is currently under investigation for violating laws around failing to register as a foreign agent while representing overseas corporations. So, what does this all mean? Well, it looks like the Biden family might be in for a bumpy ride. And while the impeachment proceedings are still in their early stages, one thing’s for sure: this saga is far from over.
