In her usual no-holds-barred style, AOC said the quiet part out loud claiming that the numerous legal battles facing former President Donald Trump is similar to strapping an ankle bracelet on him, effectively shackling his ability to campaign for the 2024 presidential election.

From the alleged mishandling of classified documents to multiple indictments, the legal system seems to have a permanent spotlight on him. She took it a step further by calling it a deliberate attempt to kneecap Trump’s campaign efforts. Picture this: Trump, once the juggernaut of American politics, now hamstrung by court dates and legal expenses. It’s enough to make even the hardest of his supporters sweat. And that’s exactly the point, according to AOC. Her comments suggest that these prosecutions are less about accountability and more about sidelining a formidable political opponent.
“By the way, Trump’s doing it in the South Bronx not to make a point, but because he’s got court,” AOC said. “And the man practically has the legal version of an ankle bracelet around him, and he can’t leave the 5 boroughs because he always has to be in court. So it is truly an embarrassment to him. And I am looking forward to the response of everyday Bronxites talking about how they feel about him coming to their backyard.”

I’ll tell you one thing though, I’d bet that she’s in for a rude awakening because those in the Bronx are probably fed up with her rhetoric and are ready for President Trump to regain control of this country and see if he can dig us out of this hole that the Democrats have thrown us into.
