New information has emerged regarding the unprecedented FBI raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate just prior to the 2022 midterm elections. America First Legal, a judicial watchdog organization, has revealed that the Biden White House provided a “special access request” to the Department of Justice (DOJ), allowing them to access potentially classified material at Mar-a-Lago.
This recent development has sparked outrage as NARA records reveal how misleading the National Archives were to Congress during the FBI investigation. The DOJ, acting on behalf of the Biden White House, was able to obtain the Trump records, which may have indirectly led to the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago. It’s concerning that the Biden Administration and DOJ coordinated in such a manner which was potentially illegal when it comes to “current business” conducted by the White House.
The conducting of a criminal investigation is not considered part of the “current business” of the White House, thus sparking a major legal concern. The demand for NARA to turn over all related records regarding the Biden White House’s involvement in the Mar-a-Lago raid has been made by America First Legal. NARA’s possible lies to Congress about the involvement of the White House in the raid is likely to be seen as election interference.
NEW: thanks to @StephenM’s organization America First Legal, we now know that the Biden WH was directly involved with the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago.

/4 What this means is that there are substantial discrepancies between what the Archives has told Congress and what appears in its internal communications…

/6 This stunning revelation suggests that NARA was misleading Congress about the White House's role in the shocking raid of President Trump's home, and the fact that the Biden White House was acting "on behalf of" the DOJ raises significant legal concerns.

/10 EMAIL HERE — Gary Stern, the National Archives’ General Counsel, confirms in an email obtained by America First Legal that “the Justice Department, via the Biden White House, had made the [special access] request,” regarding the documents at President Trump’s home, Mar-a-Lago pic.twitter.com/Rg7WPO5fVX

“The evidence shows that the nonpartisan National Archives and Records Administration deceived Congress about the part that the Biden White House played in the FBI’s raid on President Trump’s home,” stated Reed D. Rubinstein, Senior Counselor and Director of Oversight and Investigations. “It also indicates that Biden executives in the Executive Office of the President unlawfully used their power and then lied about their actions to the American people. It seems like this government recognizes no limits to its ability to harass, intimidate and silence its political opponents.” These latest revelations imply something far more nefarious regarding the privacy of former Presidents and the manipulation of the judicial system.
