Governor Candidate UNLOADS on Fake News After 4th Failed Attempt on Trump’s Life

Republican Michigan gubernatorial candidate John James delivered a blistering rebuke of the corporate media over Memorial Day weekend, accusing major news outlets of fueling a toxic political climate that is helping radicalize unstable individuals against President Trump.

During an appearance on Fox News, James did not mince words as he condemned what he described as nonstop inflammatory rhetoric aimed at the president. The combat veteran and longtime Trump ally argued that years of hysterical comparisons and demonization from the mainstream press are having dangerous real-world consequences.

“Because TDS, Trump Derangement Syndrome, is a communicable disease and it’s being spread by the mainstream, lamestream fake news media,” James said.

That line alone probably caused several CNN producers to simultaneously spill oat milk lattes across newsroom keyboards.

James pointed to the fact that President Trump spent part of the holiday weekend engaged in negotiations tied to peace efforts in the Middle East instead of attending family events, including reportedly missing his own son’s wedding due to ongoing responsibilities connected to national security and diplomacy.

“President Trump is literally spending his holiday weekend negotiating for peace in the Middle East,” James said. “He had to miss his son’s wedding because he loves this country, wants to keep us safe.”

That contrast has become increasingly frustrating for many conservatives who believe media coverage of President Trump rarely reflects accomplishments or policy efforts fairly. Instead, they argue, coverage is dominated by endless outrage cycles, personal attacks, and apocalyptic rhetoric designed to portray the president as some kind of existential threat to democracy itself.

James specifically warned that repeatedly comparing President Trump to dictators or historical monsters contributes to a broader atmosphere of hatred and instability.

“This is the 4th attempt on his life that we know of in the past 2 years,” James stated. “This is because you keep calling people, the lamestream media calls the president Hitler, makes comparisons, and would like to see him gone.”

The Michigan Republican argued that this rhetoric gradually seeps into public discourse and can influence mentally unstable individuals already prone to extremism.

“And this is the type of thing that begins creeping into the mainstream and radicalizing these people who are taking attempts on the president of the United States,” he added.

James also tied his remarks to the meaning of Memorial Day itself, emphasizing unity, sacrifice, and respect for the country. He warned that political extremists and media-driven division are eroding the shared values Americans should be honoring during national holidays dedicated to fallen service members.

“It must stop. It must stop now,” James said. “And we need to remember the reasons why we’re celebrating Memorial Day is bringing our country together.”

For many conservatives, James articulated growing frustration with a media environment that seems permanently trapped in panic mode whenever President Trump is involved. Americans can disagree on policy without turning every political dispute into a five-alarm moral catastrophe. Unfortunately, outrage generates ratings, and cable news executives appear addicted to the formula.
