Well, CNN did something we haven’t seen in a while — they actually cut away from Joe Biden. Why? Because their favorite president decided to go full unhinged at a Memorial Day event in Delaware, shouting nonsense, getting in the faces of female reporters, and claiming he could “beat the hell” out of CNN’s own Jake Tapper. You’d think that kind of meltdown might raise some alarms in the press, but hey, it’s just another Friday for Biden.
Let’s start with the setting: a solemn Memorial Day ceremony in New Castle, Delaware. The kind of event where presidents are supposed to honor fallen heroes, not use the stage to relitigate their medical records or launch into threats of physical violence. But Joe Biden, 82, with a fresh public admission of metastatic cancer managed to make the entire thing about himself. Again.
In typical fashion, he brought up his late son Beau and implied, once again, that Beau died in combat. Except he didn’t. Beau died in 2015 of brain cancer in a Maryland hospital. The Iraq war narrative is pure Biden fiction — disrespectful, misleading, and repeatedly fact-checked. But that never stops him.
Then came the shouting. “I’m an American! That’s who I am! I’m serious about this! I’m not joking!” Biden barked out of nowhere. The man botched a line from the Declaration of Independence shortly afterward, just to seal the deal. And that wasn’t even the most bizarre part of the day.
Former President Biden: "I know for many of you Memorial Day, like for us, is deeply personal. For the Bidens, this day is the 10th anniversary of loss of my son Beau, who spent a year in Iraq. To be honest, it's a hard day." pic.twitter.com/AHzDiDjBoQ

After his remarks, Biden shuffled over to reporters — and this is where CNN had to hit the panic button. Kaitlan Collins asked a fairly standard question, referencing a recent book by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson discussing Biden’s deteriorating mental and physical state. Biden’s response? He got right in her face and snapped, “You can see that I’m mentally incompetent and I can’t walk, and I can beat the hell out of both of them.”
Let that sink in. The sitting President of the United States threatened physical violence against two journalists from his own friendly network — and looked barely coherent while doing it. The moment Dana Bash’s expression turned to horror was the instant CNN pulled the plug. That’s saying something.
This isn’t about politics anymore. It’s about basic competence. Biden’s behavior is erratic, self-centered, and increasingly unstable. The media can try to cut away from the footage, but the American people are watching.
