Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) found herself in the middle of a profanity-laced confrontation this weekend, and rather than back down, she doubled down—posting the entire exchange on social media and making it crystal clear: she’s not here to be harassed by political agitators in daisy dukes.
The incident took place inside a makeup store, where Mace says she was approached by a man who, according to her X (formerly Twitter) post, was clearly looking for a fight. “Some unhinged lunatic, a man, wearing daisy dukes, at a makeup store, got in my face today,” she wrote. “Dems are nuts. So I went off — and I won’t be backing down.”
The viral video shows the man aggressively questioning Mace about her schedule of town halls. What starts as a seemingly benign question—“Are you holding more town halls this year?”—quickly escalates into a shouting match, with Mace pushing back and calling out the man’s behavior as harassment. The situation went off the rails fast, with both parties exchanging expletives and accusations. And while the language was graphic, Mace didn’t flinch.
“You people on the left are absolutely f***ing crazy,” she told the man as he berated her. “Get out of my face.”
What’s especially telling is the man’s sudden offense when Mace brought up her support for gay marriage—something he bizarrely interpreted as a personal attack. “Do you think everything about me has to do with gay marriage?” he asked. Mace fired back: “Absolutely.” Because in today’s political climate, the Left demands tolerance, but only if it comes with total submission. And when they don’t get it? Cue the rage.

The Left’s reaction online has been predictably unhinged—accusing Mace of being unprofessional or “unhinged” herself. But let’s be honest: if a Democrat lawmaker had been confronted in public like this by a conservative, the media would be crying about safety and “democracy under attack” 24/7. Instead, Mace stood her ground and reminded everyone why she’s not afraid to fight back.
The bigger story here? Democrats like to dish it out, but they can’t take it. They send their activists into public spaces to heckle Republican women and then cry foul when someone like Nancy Mace refuses to play victim.
Don’t expect Mace to apologize. She’s not backing down—and frankly, that’s exactly what voters are looking for right now.
