President Trump’s immigration crackdown is in full force, and it’s making an immediate impact. Fox News reporters embedded with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) witnessed a series of high-profile arrests in Boston on Wednesday, as Trump’s zero-tolerance policy on illegal immigration takes shape. The operation targeted some of the most dangerous criminals hiding in plain sight, thanks to the city’s notorious sanctuary policies.
In East Boston, a heavily Hispanic neighborhood, ICE agents arrested MS-13 gang members, convicted murderers, and individuals flagged with Interpol Red Notices—a designation reserved for the world’s most wanted criminals. Among them, a Haitian man with 17 criminal convictions screamed in defiance as he was loaded into an ICE vehicle.
“F*** Trump, you feel me? Yo, Biden forever, bro!” he shouted, in front of Fox’s cameras. “Thank Obama for everything that he did for me, bro!”
Another notable arrest involved a Brazilian national with an Interpol Red Notice for armed robbery. ICE agents also apprehended a Salvadoran illegal alien who had been charged locally with r-pe but was released due to Massachusetts’ sanctuary policies. These policies, implemented in cities like Boston, allow violent criminals to roam free, endangering the very communities they claim to protect.
Throughout the operation, agents encountered widespread public support. In one instance, after ICE arrested a known MS-13 gang member previously released by local authorities, a bystander shouted “thank you” as officers placed him into their vehicle.
Patricia Hyde, acting director of ICE’s Boston field office, emphasized the Trump administration’s renewed commitment to aggressive enforcement, highlighting a zero-tolerance approach that has been missing for the past four years. She noted how the raid also netted a “collateral” arrest—an illegal immigrant previously deported who was found living with an MS-13 member.
“When we went to go find [the gang member], he was with somebody else who was previously removed from the United States,” Hyde told Fox. “So he’s gonna go today, too.”

These arrests send a clear message: Trump’s administration is serious about enforcing immigration law, whether local officials cooperate or not. Meanwhile, reports indicate that illegal immigrants are now self-deporting out of fear they will be sent back to dangerous countries under agreements brokered by Trump’s administration.
With sanctuary city policies facing renewed scrutiny and enforcement efforts ramping up, it’s clear that the days of lawlessness are coming to an end.
