Roseanne Is Back! Fox Launches Epic Ad During NFL Games to Promote Her New Comedy Special

Roseanne Barr, a rare conservative face in the Hollywood scene, made headlines back in 2018 when she was abruptly fired, and her show ‘Roseanne’ was canceled due to an allegedly “offensive” tweet. Now, it seems that the actress is making her comeback, this time with Fox’s streaming service Fox Nation offering her a comedy special called Roseanne Barr: Cancel This!

The Hollywood Reporter reported that Fox will use today’s NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles to launch a marketing campaign for Barr’s comedy comeback effort, which will be called Roseanne Barr: Cancel This!

Take a look:

The 15 second ad for this special will be launched during the NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles and will see Roseanne taking to the stage and asking if anyone else has been fired recently. The actual show itself will officially air on February 13 on Fox Nation and according to Jason Klarman, President of Fox Nation, said when announcing Roseanne’s return: “Roseanne is a comedy icon whose humor connects with the American audience like no other. Her ability to channel the challenges of everyday people and find the humor in it all has earned her the passionate following of millions of dedicated fans.”

Roseanne’s career came to a sudden halt after an ill-advised tweet about Obama aide Valerie Jarrett led ABC execs – including Channing Dungey, ABC’s Entertainment President – to cancel her show immediately. Dungey stated that “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values”, which resulted in Roseanne apologizing only moments later but by then it was too late.

However, despite what was considered a career ending moment, Roseanne is now given another chance at redemption as well as providing viewers with an entertaining way to look at issues such as cancel culture through humor with her special Cancel This! As Klarman puts it: “Her ability to channel the challenges of everyday people and find the humor in it all has earned her the passionate following of millions of dedicated fans”.

I DEMAND TO SEE THE TWEET that made so many liberals soil their diapers in unison!

It is interesting the Roseanne was cancelled after making a tweet that someone decided was islamaphobic, but, Omar can constantly utter anti semetic comments and she is put on a foreign affairs committee in congress,

Roseanne is great. Valerie Jarrett looks like a monkey. No, Jarrett IS a monkey. Roseanne WINS!
