Eyewitness Recording Reveals Police Mentioned ‘Second Shooter’ After Trump Attack

An eyewitness who was detained by police during the assassination attempt on President Trump has come forward with explosive claims. The witness, Dave James Stewart, known as “realDJStew724” on YouTube, alleges that he overheard unsettling details on police radios that were not shared with the public.

Stewart claims that while he was in police custody, he overheard officers discussing the presence of blood in a bathroom and the possibility of a second shooter still at large. Stewart first posted a video on July 28, fifteen days after the shooting, showing police reacting to a perceived threat on the roof moments before the would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, opened fire.

The video captures an officer with his handgun drawn, keeping watch on the roof from the opposite side of where Crooks eventually started shooting. This officer, later seen in police bodycam footage talking with colleagues on the roof where Crooks’ body was found, initially just wanted to photograph Stewart’s ID. Stewart was then taken into custody by a state trooper, who confiscated his phone and handed it over to the FBI.

In a post on his YouTube channel, Stewart addressed the Pennsylvania State Police Trooper who detained him, demanding accountability and warning, “Don’t ever tread on me again.”

According to Stewart, he was trying to catch a glimpse of a Trump rally after clocking out from a nearby convenience store when he became an unwitting witness to the assassination attempt. He captured a video that was subsequently seized by law enforcement.

Stewart revealed in an interview with Axios that he was taken to a building filled with other witnesses and interrogated by multiple law enforcement agencies. He was reportedly told not to communicate with other witnesses, heightening the sense of secrecy and tension.

On July 30, Stewart released an audio recording of his interrogation by a State Police trooper. In the recording, Stewart confronts the trooper about being detained and questions the motives behind their actions. The trooper eventually explains that they needed to talk to Stewart to facilitate the return of his phone.

The most alarming part of Stewart’s testimony comes from what he claims to have overheard on the police radio: reports of blood found in a bathroom and a second shooter still at large. This detail has not been confirmed by authorities, but Stewart insists it was discussed among officers.

A body cam video later released showed an officer who had allegedly cut his hands, possibly explaining the origin of the “blood in the bathroom” story. However, the question of a second shooter remains unresolved.

As the investigation continues, Stewart’s account adds a layer of complexity to an already chaotic and tragic event. Whether these claims hold water remains to be seen, but they undoubtedly raise serious questions about the transparency and thoroughness of the police investigation.
