It’s not a secret that Democrats have been turning on Biden, and for good reason. Most recently, far-left Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has joined the opposition and called on voters to actually consider opposing Joe Biden in the upcoming November election. Labeling Biden as an “enabler of genocide,” Tlaib’s fiery rhetoric underscores her dissatisfaction with his administration’s stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict.
During her address at the People’s Conference for Palestine in Detroit, Tlaib didn’t mince words. She accused Biden and his colleagues in Congress of cowardice and complicity in war crimes. “It is disgraceful that the Biden administration and my colleagues in Congress continue to smear [anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian students on college campuses] for protesting to save lives—no matter their faith or ethnicity. It is cowardly,” she declared, asserting that this betrayal would not be forgotten come November.
Tlaib’s condemnation didn’t stop there. She lambasted Biden for his criticism of an International Criminal Court arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “President Biden, I hope you hear us loud and clear,” she proclaimed. “Attacking the authority of the International Criminal Court and interfering in the legal process is nothing more than an attempt to prevent the genocidal maniac Netanyahu and senior Israeli officials from being held accountable for their crimes against humanity.” The Michigan Representative left no room for doubt, stating directly, “You are an enabler, President Biden.”
Oh sh*t. Rashida Tlaib straight up calls out Joe Biden for enabling the genocidal government of Israel and tells him “we aren’t going to forget this in November” ???????????? pic.twitter.com/HLtYXXKEpx

This isn’t Tlaib’s first clash with Biden. Earlier this year, she urged voters in Michigan to mark “uncommitted” in the primary elections—a call that many heeded. Moreover, she has consistently refrained from endorsing Biden’s campaign, urging voters to critically evaluate the “whole ballot” instead.
The implications of Tlaib’s words are far-reaching. Her comments highlight the deepening rift within the Democratic Party over Middle Eastern policy and U.S. support for Israel. This internal conflict could spell trouble for Biden as he seeks re-election, particularly if Tlaib’s influence sways other members of the progressive wing.
Adding fuel to the fire, Muslim activists have recently launched an “Abandon Biden” campaign across nine states, aiming to challenge Biden’s re-election bid. Abdel Salam, the campaign’s organizer, articulated their mission clearly: “By defeating [Biden], it would signal to the entire political landscape that defending genocide could lead to your defeat, so beware.” The goal is to promote this message nationwide and ensure it remains consistent[^1].
As we edge closer to the election, Tlaib’s bold stance raises questions about the potential ramifications for Biden’s campaign. Will her provocative call to action resonate with voters frustrated by his Middle East policies? Or will it galvanize the Democratic base to rally around the incumbent president?
