BREAKING: Trump Reached Out to Someone About VP Position…Here’s Who It Was

Well, well, well, if it isn’t the political merry-go-round spinning us all into a dizzy tizzy once again! So, what’s the latest hot gossip straight from the rumor mill, you ask? Hold onto your hats, folks, because this one’s a doozy: our former Commander-in-Chief and soon to be once again, Donald Trump, might just be courting none other than Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as his running mate for the next general elections. Some people have mentioned that as being a possibility, but it was unclear if he’d go that route.

According to a little birdie that chirped to the New York Post, Trump’s camp made some “preliminary overtures” to Kennedy. Now, I know what you’re thinking: ‘Trump and RFK Jr., really?’ But hey, in the wild world of politics, stranger things have happened.

This source, who’s apparently in Trump’s orbit but wants to remain nameless (can’t blame them, really), said, “Anything’s possible. I wouldn’t write it off by any means.” Interesting, isn’t it? It’s like a political version of ‘will they, won’t they.’ Keeps us on our toes, doesn’t it?

But wait, there’s more! Another big player in this game, a generous donor to both the Kennedy and Trump campaigns, says the effort to recruit Kennedy as Trump’s VP is very much alive. They said, “It’s very much behind the scenes at this stage. As we progress you might see it bubble up a little bit more.” Bubble up, eh? Like a fine champagne or a simmering pot of controversy?

Now, let’s not forget, Kennedy, who’s 70 now, launched his White House bid as a Democrat last year. Despite polling as high as 15-20 percent, the Democratic National Committee didn’t hold any debates or primary election functions, basically giving Biden the crown. So, Kennedy announced he’d run as an independent.

A Trump-Kennedy ticket has the political pundits all aflutter because of its potential cross-appeal. Sure, Kennedy’s been called an “anti-vaxxer” and a “conspiracy theorist” by many in the Democrat establishment and corporate press, but his campaign has won support from some pretty prominent liberals, including former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.

Who knows? We might just see this odd couple on the campaign trail soon. Now wouldn’t that be something?

Myrle Francis Sr

Tom

This is a lie and I mean a BIG LIE!

SD Bittner

I sure hope not, so that would then be the one to run for President in the next election season? No way! He has too many Dem ideas. This would be a disaster waiting to happen.

CPOBill

I could go with RFK as he is the old style conservative democrat like JFK was!

Chuck

NO, No, No! No f-ing Democrats on the ticket! If he names Kennedy before he has secured the Nomination, I may change to Haley!

Lynda Mozelewski

I think that’s the best answer. Kennedy will appeal to less liberal Democrats, and probably a number of independents. Could be a very successful ticket.
